Signature Treatments

La’Or Thai Massage

My unique signature body treatment. This treatment is a combination of Thai, deep tissue and Swedish massage techniques. These elements all work in harmony together.

You will find your tension releases from both the body and the mind.  Perfect if you need relaxation, reduced stress levels and relief from aches and pains.

This massage also promotes increased circulation to the sore and injured muscles. As the circulation increases this brings nutrients and oxygen to the damaged tissues. As a result, stiffness and swelling in the muscles reduces, and flexibility is increased.

Regular treatments can also help to improve your posture and improve your wellbeing.

La’Or Face Lifting Massage

My unique signature facial treatment, using traditional Chinese ‘gua sha’ stones. These unique stones fit along every contour of your face.

From the very first cleansing step of the routine you will feel your facial muscles lifting. This is an ideal treatment to if you are looking for healthy and even toned skin.

The method’s key to success is the focus on two different phases: sculptural and deep tissue. Resulting in restored muscle tone and elasticity. Muscles tighten and skin becomes smooth, returning the face to its natural shape.

The stimulation of skin cell regeneration helps to prevent the signs of skin aging. Afterwards you’ll be feeling relaxed with younger and firmer looking skin.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage treats musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries.

During the treatment sustained pressure is applied using slow and deep strokes. This targets the inner layers of your muscles and the connective tissues.

Working deeper into the muscles helps to break up the scar tissue that forms following an injury.  This is the ideal treatment to reduce tension in muscles and tissues.

Sports Massage

Sports massage can correct problems caused by repetitive and strenuous physical activity. The application of sports massage may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.

These treatments are a beneficial addition to your fitness programme. These massages can be taken both before and after exercise, thereby speeding up recovery times and preventing injuries.

Aroma Oil

Aromatherapy massage has a huge range of benefits. The use of essential oils promotes relaxation, pain management, and improves your mood.

Essential oils can be included with any type of massage, and consequently increase the benefits of the treatment. Please ask me to find out more.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage promotes relaxation and bonding with your baby. As a result, pregnancy massage can sooth nerves and relieve aches and strains.

In addition to the benefits immediately after the treatment, pregnancy massage can also assist during labour. Especially as part of the management of pain and anxiety in the first stage of labour. For example, massage can help reduce the intensity of contractions. It can even mean a shorter time in labour, and that you need less pain relief.

This is a very special way to relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is a whole body technique. Softer strokes for the most delicate parts of the body. And conversely stronger strokes where there is more muscle coverageThis change of pressure makes it an ideal massage for relaxation.

A great boost for your circulation, to soothe your muscles and relax you.

Traditional Yoga Massage

This style of massage uses pressure points and Thai yoga techniques. You wear loose, comfortable clothing for this style of massage. Thai massage is based on the selection of ten main energy lines. These lines enable me to treat the entire body and internal organs.

In accordance with ancient Asian culture, Thai massage treats the energy field in the body. Thai yoga massage is based on the belief that tight muscles diminish the flow of energy.

The practice of Thai yoga massage restores and increases the energy flow and improves flexibility.

Thai Foot Massage Reflexology

Reflexology is an ancient therapy originating from China. Certain points of the foot correspond to other parts of the body. I use pressure points on the feet to transfer energy to many parts of the body.

As a result, this treatment increases circulation around the body and to targeted areas. A great treatment to reduces stress, anxiety and headaches. This treatment also works wonders for fluid retention around the legs and ankles.

Reflexology also boosts energy levels and improves your digestive system.

Reiki

Reiki is a complementary therapy that uses gentle touch to channel energy and promote healing. The word reiki comes from the Japanese words rei, which means universal, and ki, which loosely translates to a flow of lifeforce energy.

For Reiki treatments, you can wear loose, light clothing. Reiki treatments involve very light touch, or hands placed only near the body. This is a deeply calming and relaxing treatment.

Reiki can also be combined with massage and aromatherapy treatments.
